Golden Corral w/ BCDC

 

Our first BCDC Get-Together and ‘Thank You’ celebration of The Blairs, was a time of fellowship and getting to know each other better. We ate, talked, laughed, and enjoyed each other immensely. 

 

In attendance were our guests of honor, King John and Queen Lois Blair, who are moving to Maryland to be closer to family. A presentation of their life experiences, escapades, and consistent involvement in serving others. They added many amusing details to their story which had us all laughing and clapping The Blairs have been active members of BCDC since 2008 and will be greatly missed. They were presented with a crystal plaque given in love and appreciation.  They were showered with cards, plenty of hugs, and several other gifts for their new home. They will ALWAYS be a part of our BCDC FAMILY!

Our CD10 Chair Conolus Scott paid us a surprise visit. He gave encouraging remarks about how our committee has grown and prospered. He said that we have come a long way and that he appreciates and is proud of the work we are doing. We were elated and proud of this acknowledgment.

It is our intention to sponsor similar events in the future and invite other community members.
